Boater Facilities
Welcome Center
We love meeting all the wonderful people traveling the Canal so make sure you stop in and say hello at some point during your stay!
We have lots of information on local businesses and attractions and can help point you in the right direction.
Bathrooms
In the lower level of the Museum are facilities for boaters and travelers along the Erie Canal. There are bathrooms and showers available for boaters staying overnight at our docks. Ask Museum staff or the Bridge Tender for the access code to get in.
Docking
Dock spaces are available, free of charge on a first come first served basis not to exceed 48 hours.
No boat may tie up to the docks for any time exceeding 48 consecutive hours in any 7-day period and any time exceeding two periods of 48 consecutive hours during any 30-day period.
Free water and electric hookups are available at the docks.
Wi-Fi
We also have free Wi-Fi access. You will need to get the password from Museum staff or the Dockmaster.
